April Update

Here is a big long update of what we've been up to in APRIL!
I got some bangs...
Here's my cheesy little girl, Taylor!
Eating a PB&J sandwich for lunch

Painting her toenails with a crayon! Great dexterity :)
Having fun with story time at the Orem Library! Clapping her hands
Sitting indian style while listening to story time :)
Grocery shopping at Costco! Taylor likes to stand
Oh Great, Shopping will never be the same now... They have little kiddy carts
Pretending to be sleeping on the bathroom floor... gross :)
She brought in a blanket and a pillow all on her own... funny girl
Wrapping herself up in these soft sheets
Taylor's cousin, Libbee got a HUGE BEAR from a yard sale for only $5.
Taylor loved to snuggle this bear that is triple her size
Happy Easter! Thanks Gma Gubler for some of the treats as well as the Easter bunny!
I tried to sleep elevated as much as possible because Trevor was totally up in my ribs and plus, I got heartburn even from just water!!! All these pillows still didn't work... I just ended up sliding down :)
30 weeks prego

My parents got their mission call to Africa! They are leaving July 19th to the Cote d'Ivoire Abdijan Mission (Ivory Coast)

Here is our new vehicle! A GMC Acadia. 3 rows and perfect for our soon to be family of 5!!! :)
We sold our Honda Accord :( to Tyson's sister, so we wouldn't have a huge car payment.
I absolutely LOVE this vehicle!

28 weeks prego

Our House we live in. It is HUGE! This house was built by my Grandpa Smith and when he passed away, my Mom and Dad bought it to keep it in the family... So now that they are going on a mission, we are living in this beautiful home and taking care of it...

First Hair Cut
Tyson took Taylor to his sisters salon and she trimmed Taylors hair.

And then made it look cute
Taylor likes to "paint" her toenails with crayons (instead of coloring).

We started going to the Library every week for Story time! Taylor loves it because they do interactive stuff as well. I am such a HUGE fan of the library and all it offers!!!

There's a cool park down the street from us as well. Taylor LOVES it of course!

These are my favorite tulips that have popped up around our house. There are sooo many different colors. I'm a huge fan of tulips because it is one of the first signs of "good weather"

When Gma and Gpa Gubler came up to visit a little while back, Taylor got a sliver in her finger and kept saying "OWY!" Daddy was hunting, so Gpa got out the needle, alcohol, and tweezers and got the LONG sliver out! She was such a good trooper. Now every time Taylor gets "hang nails", she thinks its the same kind of owy and says, "Gpa do it" :) It's darling.
Check out the video! IT IS SOOOO DARLING!!!

Happy Birthday TAYLOR!!!

TAYLOR is OFFICIALLY 2 yrs old!
We had a great day today! Taylor's newest favorite movie is "Arial" and so, Uncle Kelly and Daddy watched the "Little Mermaid" with her, and even when she was done watching it, the two boys were still there watching the movie :) LOL

We invited Gma and Gpa Perrero over for a BBQ and a get-together!
Gma and Gpa Gubler came up from Las Vegas this weekend to celebrate as well.
We also had Uncle Kelly and Uncle Colby over too.
All other local cousins were on vacation for Spring Break.

Taylor LOVES oranges (as long as I peel them carefully for her)

Taylor was soooo happy when we all sang Happy Birthday to her!
It was sooo cute! She even sang along with us! :)

Daddy helping Taylor blow out the candles!

Here is the step by step careful approach to digging into her own cake! :)

When she is "all done", she is "ALL DONE"!!!
Taylor says, "All Done" and starts to get out of her high chair. I keep telling her, okay, just sit for a minute because mommy and Daddy are still eating, but there is NO PATIENCE!!! SHE IS ALL DONE!!! And start climbing out of her high chair! It is my biggest pet peeve, because then I know my meal is over... :(
She didn't like it when her hands were messy and kept saying, "wash hands".
Also, she started saying, "pee pee mommy" while I was taking pictures, and so when I went to pick her up...there was pee pee all over the chair! That was a SHOCKER! NO WONDER SHE DIDN'T WANT TO "STAND" IN IT :) So, we threw her in the sink and bathed her down.
She must have been so excited about the cake and being sang to that she didn't want to interupt it to go to the toilet :) It's so cute because she says, "sorry mommy!" It makes me feel so bad. I just tell her, "its okay! It was an accident", because it was and she really is good about going potty on the toilet!

Here is Taylor opening her presents! She really got spoiled!
Gma Perrero got her such a neat present...she made Taylor her own bank acct and adds money to it every year for their birthday to help save money! She does it for all the grandkids! I love that idea! Gma Gubler got her dolls and clothes, etc... Uncle Kelly really spoiled her with her favorite Mickey Mouse bag and lego's and a "Noah's Arc set as well as a Princess Castle set.
Mommy and Daddy got Taylor her first tricycle!!! We can't wait to have her learn to ride it! :)

But Taylor's FAVORITE Bday gift was all the TISSUE PAPER!!!
She played with it for a while down the hall and everywhere else.
Her other favorite gift was the $1 BUBBLES! :)
It amazes me that the cheapest things they get for gifts are their FAVORITES!!! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY PRECIOUS GIRL! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

A little bit about Taylor:
(mostly for my journal)
-She is SOOOO independent and Fearless (except with dogs)
-Likes to test mommy's limits
-STUBBORN! but knows when to obey (for the most part)
-Sarcastic (gets it from her parents) :)
-"Acts" like she's not paying attention if mommy, gpa, etc... talk to her sometimes.
-Can keep a straight face really well if we are teasing her to smile/laugh.
-NOT PATIENT
-counts 1-10, 16-20, 60-100 (by 10's)
-pretends to sing her ABC's
-recognizes some letters, like A, C, L, O, Y, Z...
-recognizes some words; and likes to read her "words" from the 'your baby can read program'
-LOVES to have us READ to her!!! (can't get enough of books)
-Favorite book is "Monsters under my Bed" (Mommy's favorite when I was little)... we have to read it every time she goes down for a nap or bedtime...with another book.
-Such a great helper! Loves to wipe down tables or sweep if we are
-Potty Trained (few hiccups here and there)
-Still does some sign language, if I can't understand her...but prefers talking, of course.
-TALKS AND TALKS AND TALKS! Gpa Perrero says "Does she every stop talking" :)
-Says, "Mommy sick", when I dry heave in the shower.
-Says, "I'm Sorry Mommy/Daddy" if she knows she is in trouble
-Says, "Ready to go, Gpa" when we are going somewhere with Gpa...
-Very sensitive, if we get upset at her.
-If I sneeze, she says, "Mess (Bless) You Mommy"
-HATES DOGS!!!
-LOVES to watch "The Little Mermaid" and "Finding Nemo"
-Obsessed with Dora now, and still with Mickey Mouse
-Show off when around Family...runs around screaming and doing little summersaults, jumping like a frog, or rolling around.
-Loves her cousin, Averee (always wants to go see her to play)
-If she falls and gets hurt, she bawls and has to have her boo boo kissed
-If she falls and doesn't get hurt, she says, "M' Okay" (I'm Okay)
-Loves Ramen Noodles, Mac N Cheese, Corn Hot Dogs (as she calls them), chocolate milk, pediasure, juice, candy of all kind, ICE CREAM, chicken nuggets
-Every time we pass a McD's or Wendy's, she shouts, "Nini Nuggets"

Between her first and second birthday, it AMAZES me what they learn and pick up on.
It is one of the best years! I don't want her to grow up!!! :)
She is our precious, beautiful girl and I am SOOOO Blessed to have her!!!

And then on Sunday, we got together with the whole Perrero family and celebrated both Taylor and cousin Sawyer's birthdays (since their only 1 day apart). One side of the cake was cinderella and the other side of the cake was green monsters for Sawyer :)
And of course it was fun being with everyone! Taylor LOVES her cousins!
