First TEETH!!!

Well this explains a lot of Taylor's whining! SHEESH!
Mandi was watching Taylor today while I was at work and she text me, "When did she get a tooth?" I was so shocked! I had no idea. Well, you can barely see them, but they are there and we can feel the ridges. Tyson left out of town this morning for a whole week and is super sad he is missing this, so HERE you are DADDY!!! We took a picture just for you!

All caged up

While I was doing some laundry, Taylor was playing in the laundry room with me. I left for a few minutes to do some stuff in the kitchen and I heard a LOUD THUD! My eyes went really wide as I waited for a wale of cries to come from the laundry room, but I didn't hear any.
This is how I left the laundry room:

And as I entered the laundry room, this is what I found:
No cries, just confusion as to how this bin got over her. It was hilarious. Now that Taylor is pulling herself to a standing position, she can reach up for stuff now. It is scary.

Will she do it?

If she does, I am in BIG trouble!!!

While vacuuming, I turned around, and this is what I see Taylor trying to do...

$2.65 Walgreens Jumbo Diapers

Walgreens brand diapers are $2.65 (tax included) each Jumbo pack.
Thanks to Tricia911 HERE (she also does coupon classes)
SEE HERE also
You have to buy at least 2 because they are B1G1 free and on sale for $8.99
You don't have to be a coupon clipper for this one and there are no rebates!

Here's How:
1. Drive to walgreens. Don't know where they are Go HERE

2. Go straight to the pharmacy and ask them about the "Walgreen's savings plan". Listen to their 2-3 minute verbal advertisement about how much money they can save you. Blah, blah, blah.

3. When they are done bending your ear they should offer you a coupon book. If they don't point out their sign that says ask about our savings plan get $50 coupon book. The booklet is red with white writing that says $50 in great savings a thank you gift from Walgreens". Point it out if need be. Here's what it looks like:
4. This is important. DO NOT CUT OR TEAR THE COUPON OUT. Fold the booklet so the coupon "$2 off comfort stretch diapers or training pants" can be scanned. It is in the middle pane, right at the bottom.
5. Now you have all the ammunition you need to get your diapers.

6. Go to the diaper aisle and locate the diapers. All Walgreen brand diaper jumbo packs will work.

7. Get the diapers you want. Can't find the right size, buy what ever they have and exchange them later for the right size. Are the shelves empty? Not a problem. Ask for a rain check. The diapers are on sale this week, but the coupon is good till 12-31.

8. Ok buy two packs (must be the same size) since they are B1G1. Let them ring up your diapers. Hold the coupon out for them to scan, point it out for them. If they try to take your coupons you may have to go through the pharmacy thing again. But, they are store coupons so they are reusable

9. Your subtotal should be $4.99 for two. You should also get $2/2 according to the Nov. rebate book page 52. That brings them down to $2.99 for two packs, (but that didn't work for me)

10. Now you can act all surprised and say wow that is a good deal! And ask if its it ok if to grab some more? Of' course they will say yes. But, you just got permission to clear their shelves off. But, please don't. Leave a few on the shelf for the next deal seeker.

11. Go fill your cart with diapers. Buy in groups of four as that is the limit.

12. So now you have diapers. Find a nice dry place to store them. The shelf life for diapers is five years if stored in a nice dry place.

13. If you shop at Walgreens a lot, you might want to consider buying the Walgreens prescription savings plan I talked about above (to get the pharmacy coupons). I haven't yet, but am considering. It costs $20/year, but it gets you 10% off your Walgreens brand purchases. That means all those diapers you have already bought will have an extra 10% off. When you get your card, input your receipts and get 10% back.

Leftover Halloween Candy

What to do with all that CANDY!!!

1. Have your child go through his stash and pick out enough cand y to have 1 or 2 pieces a day for the next week and toss the rest.

2. Save extra candy to use in a birthday party pinnate or goody bags.

3. Give away extra candy to a food bank. They can use it to give to needy children on special occasions or as a little treat after their meal.

4. Save candy to use as decorations on cookies, cupcakes or gingerbread houses.

5. And for the really frugal minded, you could freeze it and give it out again next year.

6. Cut it up and mix it in ice cream and have your own fancy candy bar ice cream.

7. Save it for your kid's class parties.

8. Find a place in your area that sends candy to our troops. (They do not accept chocolate because it melts but will take other candy donations.)

9. Chopped Snickers, Baby Ruth's and M & M's can be used in cookie recipes instead of chocolate chips. YUM !!!

10. And my favorite suggestion is to use it to make special desserts such as
Candy Bar Chocolate Brownies
Kit Kat Bar Smoothie
Butterfinger Layer Cake

Use other chocolate bars to make great shakes (ex: Reeses, Snickers, Butterfinger, etc...)

My SICK little girl

HOW DO YOU CARE FOR A COLD?

I had been thinking that Taylor might be sick or just teething for a few days now, but today it is confirmed! She definitely has a COLD. She sneezes snot everywhere and her nose will not stop running. She HATES it when mommy wipes her nose. But if I don't, she wipes it all over her face and into her eyes.
The poor girl is super super WHINY and irritable. It is driving me up the wall. We didn't get much sleep last night because she is so stuffed up and wakes her self up because she can't breathe.
I don't know what to do for her except keep giving her lots of loves. I have been feeding her a lot of my stored breast milk, but I don't know what else to do.
Do I give her medicine, or just ride it out?

Although she is sick, she will still give a smile to the 'camera', but not for mommy :(

Taylor's eyes are watery because of her cold too.

Don't ask me how I got this bubble picture! It was pure luck.
I guess this is what eventually happens when they start crawling around (with all those germs) and don't have mommy's milk anymore to protect their immune system.
