Bathroom Fun

Already playing in the toilet!
While mommy was making dinner, Taylor was being really quiet! What was she doing, I thought? And this is what I found!
She says, "What Mom? I'm not doing anything! Go away."
So, I clean up her mess and remove her from the bathroom, but she waddles back in there. A few minutes later, I hear hysterical crying. I run in there and her poor little fingers are stuck under the toilet lid So, I help her out, but she does it again...She is now lifting the toilet seat all by herself and trying to touch the toilet water.I give up and let her play (knowing that the toilet is cleaner than the kitchen sink...so I hear)
But, then a few minutes later, she comes walking out like this!SHEESH! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO!
Taylor is only 10 months old..........I'm so afraid of her terrible two's! We haven't even reached ONE yet!

Zoo Dentistry

Tyson is taking an elective class in dental school called Zoo Dentistry. He had heard how neat it was from other classmates, and so he was excited for his turn to see what animal he would be working on. He was lucky to be able to work on a snow leopard, which is supposedly a very rare animal. Only 5,000 remain in the WORLD. It sure is a beautiful cat. While the cat was out, Tyson filled a cavity on it. Here are some cool pics:
This picture gives me the hibby jibby's!Look at the claws on this thing!

Same day- We counter offered
Wednesday, Feb 17-They accepted our counter offer
HOUSE IN CONTRACT in just a few days of being on the market; however, WE MUST MOVE OUT BY MARCH 7th!!!
Thursday, Feb 18-Appraisal done on home
Saturday, Feb 21- I get the call that it all FELL THROUGH! AHHHH!
The people that put an offer on our home has to back out because the people buying their home backed out, and therefore, they can't get a loan to buy ours.
TODAY.....HOUSE FOR SALE!  Back on the market!  SHEESH!
What a whirlwind!
In just one week, our house went up for sale, in contract, and then back up for sale!

Can't get enough of her

Can't stop taking pictures of her!
She just loves the camera

Our little walker...I still am not use to her getting up and walking around everywhere.  It is just too weird

She is in the pointing phase!  She points at EVERYTHING!

Oh brother!

She does this weird shy look. Its is too cute.

4-pk Toilet Paper for 2 cents!

How I get my Toilet Paper:

At Kroger, their Cottonelle 4 pack is usually on sale for 99 cents.  Only buy it when it is 99 cents!
Clip or print your cottonelle coupons that are for 50 cents off ONE, 4-pack or larger.
I even used these other coupons (purple and green cottonelle) and these coupons even worked when I bought the BLUE cottonelle 4-pk.  The blue is the only one on sale for 99 cents and is the only one that comes in 4-pk (that I know of).

When you go to the register, you can only purchase 2 of them on each transaction.  So if you want to buy eight, 4-pks... then you will have 4 transactions.  The reason is because the coupons DOUBLE at kroger up to 50 cents HOWEVER, only two LIKE coupons will double on each transaction at Kroger.

So, on my receipt...you can see I bought 2 cottonelle 4-pk toilet paper for $1.98
Tax is 6 cents.  I used 2 coupons each for 50 cents and they both doubled to $1.00
So, my total for the 2 cottonelle toilet paper (4-pk) was 4 cents.
Then I do it over and over till I'm done.
TRANSACTION ONE:
2 Cottonelle Toilet Paper 4-pk:

$0.99 sale price
 x     2
=$1.98
+  0.06 tax
= $2.04
 -0.50 coupon
 -0.50 doubled
 -0.50 coupon
 -0.50 doubled
=$0.04 CENTS TOTAL!!!

P.S. Make sure the coupons haven't expired!  They are getting more strict on this.
But if they have, sometimes the expiration date is missing on my coupon  :)

Valentines Day

Tyson had mock boards on Valentines, so it was a rough day for him.
So, I made a simple PINK dinner when he got home, consisting of pink rice, pork chops, strawberries and pink juice :) Just for fun.

Lot of Taylor friends brought her Valentines goodies... Thanks Mia and Owen!

Every guys dream is to see this box on Valentines...ha ha

A Walmart bag was inside....WHAT?!

Just what he wanted... his very own Ipod Shuffle!

Tyson brought home some treats for his favorite girls too.
Taylors very own Valentine balloon

Sometimes she was scared of the balloon because it followed her back after she hit it, but she got use to it :)

And Tyson didn't forget me! He brought home some BEAUTIFUL red roses!
HAPPY VALENTINES!

My little pointer

Taylor has been doing this a lot lately.  It is really weird.  She will just point at you or point at random things and tuck her head down into her neck.  It is pretty funny.

Taylor is FAMOUS!

A friend of mine makes the CUTEST BOWS EVER!!! And she doesn't even have a girl, so Taylor modeled some of her bows. Her name is Michelle and she is a PERFECTIONIST!!! She truly has a talent. You gotta get some bows from her. Her website is still a work in progress, so check back often, because she will have tons more bows to showcase.

Power is restored!

After 11 days of no power, we finally got it back on Friday.  All weekend, we were cleaning out the fridge and moving back into our home (from Jeff and Mandi's).

Its nice to have a clean fridge :)

It was so much fun hanging out at Jeff and Mandi's house, but now it is back to reality and trying to clean up our house to put it up on the market for sale.  Fun stuff

Favorite Aunt & Uncle

Jeff became Taylor's favorite Uncle as you can see...

Mandi always does an amazing job at Taylor's hair! She always comes up with something cool. Good thing Taylor is pretty good to hold still, for the most part :) Ha Ha

Our Little Walker

Last weekend, Taylor started walking. And today she is walking more and more.

STILL NO POWER

It has been 10 days and we still have NO POWER!
There are only 15 homes in our neighborhood that doesn't have power, but everyone else does. This is crazy. LG&E says there are less than 4,000 homes left to restore power to and of course we are that last 5% that doesn't have power yet.
Last night it was below zero degrees and I have no idea how cold it got in our home, but that afternoon, it was 46 degrees. I am so grateful that we have Jeff and Mandi to take us into their home.

GOOD NEWS:
Our tree came back to life!

Here are some pictures of other homes with tree limb damage:
