In the beginning of May, Grandma and Grandpa came in town to hang out with us for about 9 days.
It was so nice. We had a lot of fun and it was really nice for me to have extra hands
Grandpa Jon with Trevor (left) and Triston (right)
Trevor in his carseat, holding Grandpa Jon's hand the WHOLE car ride. Grandpa is sitting in the back and reaching his hand forward to hold Trevor. It was the cutest thing ever!
Grandma and Grandpa Perrero got the boys a new trampoline for their Birthday (the end of this month). It took all 3 of them (Tyson included) to put it together!
It was awesome and the kids absolutely LOVE it!!!
One afternoon while the boys were napping, I walked by Taylors room and found Grandpa playing "My Little Ponies" with Taylor. He was in there for like an HOUR just playing with her.
Grandpa Jon amazes me! He takes advantage of every minute he has with his grandkids!
The next day, Jon was mentioning how he couldn't find his dad's ring (the special ring that his father gave him and that he only wears on special occasions). He remembered taking it off, but can't figure out where he put it. Jon and Glenys searched the house, cleaned the room they were staying in (Taylor's room) and was SICK about it. He had mentioned letting Taylor hold it, and so when I went to pick Taylor up from her last day of school, I asked her if she knew where Grandpa's ring was. She immediately said, "I put it on Minnie Mouse." She has this crazy amazing visual memory that astonishes me. I called Glenys and told her to look for her Minnie Mouse. Glenys said, "Oh YIP! Here it is in her closet on Minnie Mouse's thumb". We were all laughing. Grandpa got a kick out of it.
So, I started a boot camp class and made Tyson signed up. Tyson absolutely loves it and even Jon went with us a few times while he was here with us. It kicks your butt and we love it. Now that I'm building muscle, I just need to strip my fat. So, I really need to focus on better eating.
Its called Ascend Fitness and Jessica Mortenson goes with me in the mornings. Tyson does the evening classes.
We have quite a large group of young mom's in our Louisville 3rd Ward. Once in a while we will post group get-togethers as ladies by ourselves or park lunches with the kiddo's. Its fun and I'm sure I'll get to know them better as I do more things with them.
So, Taylor finished up her 3 year old 3 days a week school year. It's so sad. She really was lucky to have such great teachers this year! Miss Kathleen (left) is overall the best teacher EVER! She is so bubbly and positive and motivational. Miss Kathy (right) is more relaxed and easy going.
We are going to really really miss them. She loved her school... Middletown Christian Preschool
Taylor also finished up her season of soccer, with her friend Reagan Mills. It was a HORRIBLY HOT DAY on their last game, and it was fun that Grandma and Grandpa Perrero got to come see her play. Taylor really struggled with soccer this season. She started out great and motivated and had fun, but slowly she started whining more and more that she didn't want to come and play. At times, Tyson and I had to go out on the field because she literally wouldn't go out unless we were there. It was quite ridiculous. We definitely won't be signing her up next season.
Tuesday nights we sometimes go watch Dad play baseball. She was playing in the dirt, 'planting a flower' and being so good. Tyson plays with the boys from the Ward. He enjoys getting out, being active and getting to know the men in the ward better.
For Mothers Day, I took Glenys out and we got pampered. Glenys got an hour massage and I got an hour facial. That night, Tyson and I went out with my in-laws to King Fish on the river for dinner. We had Emma babysit the kiddo's and when we came back, this is what she left...
It was soooo sweet, that she helped Taylor make a Mother's Day gift for me :) It totally made my Mothers Day complete! :)
My Mother-in-law got me a framed quote that says:
"They know me in a way no one ever has. They open me to things I never knew existed. They drive me to insanity, and push me to my depths. They are the beat of my heart, the pulse of my veins, and the energy of my soul. They are my kids." It couldn't be more perfectly said!
And for my own mother, I had a basket of Godiva Chocolates sent to her through an online service.
Happy Mothers Day!
One of Tyson's favorite things to do is lay down with the boys at night. He loves it and they love it. Often, Tyson will fall asleep before they do.
Triston has been doing this new thing with putting my hair claw in his mouth and biting down on it so the claw opens up like a monsters mouth. He runs around saying, "Rar Rar at Trevor and Taylor" and they run away saying Monster, Monster! Its so cute! I love it!

We had another poop incident in their bedroom. Again, I was out of the house grocery shopping, and Tyson was 'watching' the kiddo's. During 'nap time' they supposedly took off their poopy diapers and ran around their rooms, stepped in it, rubbed it all over their beds and blankets and carpet :-) When I got home, we checked on the kids and cleaned everything up. You can thank me for not sharing any nasty bedroom pictures, but above is a pic of Tyson washing the boys off, while I scrubbed their bedroom floor
So, we got Taylor a new car seat and put the old one in the truck. Ever since we got this new car seat, she has fallen asleep in it on our evening drives around 5 or 6pm. That tells me she must REALLY like this one :-)
Taylor colored on a card for Grandma & Grandpa Perrero for all the things they did for us when they came out early this month
So, SUMMER TIME means PLAY TIME!
The next set of pictures are what we've been doing to have fun this Spring since the warm weather has come our way. It feels like Summer Time because it's so warm already and school is out.

I thought it was cute that the kids were so interested in Daddy cutting the watermelon :)
None of them eat watermelon, Not yet anyway. They'll learn to love it cause were going to buy it a ton this summer.
Taylor has gymnastics classes for 55 minutes once a week at "ALL ABOUT KIDS". The boys play in the 'play gym' area. The car (above) is the worst part because there's only one and the boys are obsessed with it. Well, they finally found a way to both enjoy the car (see picture above) ha ha
Once in a while, we will go to McDonalds play place in Middletown off Shelbyville Rd. Honestly, my kids are crazy. Of course my kids have to find the smallest hole into the 'off-limits' area.
Above is Trevor and Taylor picking 'flowers' at Robsion Park in Lyndon. Its one of Taylor's favorite things to do...even if they officially are weeds :-)
One morning, it was so hot, it was definitely a popsicle day
This last week has been unusually hot, so we have been playing in a lot of water. Jessica invited us over to her house one day and they played in their new inflatable pool (below). Cohen wasn't so interested in swimming in that cold cold water, which I don't blame him
2 parks have spray grounds and its one of our most favorite things to do.
This spray ground is at Long Run Park

Reagan Mills had Taylor over at her house to play. We had Reagan over often in the winter and they became good friends.
This is Middletown Elementary Schools playground. Its open to the public after school hours.
Trevor is quite the climber
Our backyard is becoming a fun play place for the summer, thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Perrero. They gave the boys a trampoline and inflatable pool from Costco for their birthday. They certainly spoiled them.
For Trevor and Triston's second birthday, we went to the Louisville ZOO.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREVOR & TRISTON!!!
They turned 2 on May 25th

This was like deja vu with Triston from last year's birthday cake.
He hated it and didn't want to get messy at all...
Triston (above) & Trevor (below), using a fork :-)
Trevor
...And Then Triston starts crying. ??? I guess he didn't like Taylor eating his cake :-)
Trevor was the same as last year... just enjoying the freedom to eat as much sugar, frosting and birthday cake as he would like, and being as messy as he wanted as well. Trevor was in Heaven :-)
The boys got flip 'play' phones
They also got a four-wheeler, which mom got on a killer sale! :-)
Grandma Gubler sent them a package as well. Taylor was more interested in their card cause it had "money" in it :-)
They got little Lightening McQueen cars
And a left-over Christmas present we didn't open from Glenys & Jon... all these Dirt Devil cleaning tools to help mom around the house :-) Taylor was lovin this!!!
I can't believe the boys are already 2 years old! At times it goes by fast, but mostly it goes by slowly :-) HA HA! As I look back, I can't believe how time has flown by. Things are just going to get better here on out! I just know it!
Trevor (left) Triston (right) on their new 4-wheelersPlaying in the nasty water pool
So, after the boys tore down the blinds in their room, we replaced them and those didn't last but a day. So, we bought black out blinds and screwed them in tightly so even if they pulled down on them, it wouldn't do any damage. Well, that obviously didn't work, those stinkers. Rrrrrr
Taylor absolutely LOVES her gymnastics once a week at ALL ABOUT KIDS.
Here is Triston (above) watching Taylor ring the bell
(you can see her in the blue in the very right side of the picture)
On the last day of the term, she gets a ribbon
Scott Austin (Awesome) was her instructor this last term. He is really fun with the kids. Taylor will be taking the summer off from lessons, but we'll go to All About Kids and play and practice
Above is literally my life!
