Leftover Halloween Candy

What to do with all that CANDY!!!

1. Have your child go through his stash and pick out enough cand y to have 1 or 2 pieces a day for the next week and toss the rest.

2. Save extra candy to use in a birthday party pinnate or goody bags.

3. Give away extra candy to a food bank. They can use it to give to needy children on special occasions or as a little treat after their meal.

4. Save candy to use as decorations on cookies, cupcakes or gingerbread houses.

5. And for the really frugal minded, you could freeze it and give it out again next year.

6. Cut it up and mix it in ice cream and have your own fancy candy bar ice cream.

7. Save it for your kid's class parties.

8. Find a place in your area that sends candy to our troops. (They do not accept chocolate because it melts but will take other candy donations.)

9. Chopped Snickers, Baby Ruth's and M & M's can be used in cookie recipes instead of chocolate chips. YUM !!!

10. And my favorite suggestion is to use it to make special desserts such as
Candy Bar Chocolate Brownies
Kit Kat Bar Smoothie
Butterfinger Layer Cake

Use other chocolate bars to make great shakes (ex: Reeses, Snickers, Butterfinger, etc...)

ANY OTHER IDEAS???
