The first day we got to Lake Powell, I put Taylor's life vest on and helped her walk around the boat. Well, then she got confident and went off by herself. All of a sudden she trips and falls into the gate around the house boat and splits her frenum open. There are pictures to show it and it is disgustingly sad. There was blood everywhere and that is how the trip started out :)
We had so much fun wake boarding, riding the water weenie, going on boat rides, swimming, canoeing, playing in the sand and with frogs and lizards the kids caught. One of the kids favorite memories is when Grandpa Jon becomes the mud monster. When all the kids start throwing mud on him he becomes the mud monster and he runs around catching them all. It is sooo funny watching all the kids run away from Grandpa Jon. Then when the mud gets washed off, he goes back to Grandpa Jon. It is sooo dang cute and darling. The kids even made a mud bath for the mud monster. :) I had fun, even though I was stressed out so badly watching Taylor and following her around like a hawk just making sure she was safe.
Taylor wasn't so sure about the water at first. She didn't like the feel of the mushy wet sand either. She would lift up her feet so she wouldn't touch it. It was funny. She also hated her life jacket. She LOVED all her little cousins and especially baby Braelyn. It was fun to enjoy this time together with the Perrero family on the house boat, even though it became really chaotic with Taylor screaming all the time :)

Looks like an awesome trip!
My Taylor split her frenum a few months ago too, but it's fine now.
can i tell you that is the cutest pic EVER!! She is getting so big! Mia busted her frenum the other day at my mom's. It bled everywhere. She hit it on the piano. I thought someone was watching her but no she was all alone in the living room trying to play the piano. She ate a popsicle and felt better. That girl LOVES popsicles.
