THE MOST SNOW LOUISVILLE HAS SEEN!

Well, this morning, Louisville officially has been declared to be in a state of emergency...Jefferson county and a few others...to be specific. Nobody is suppose to be out on the roads except for emergency vehicles. This is totally normal for UTAH I'm sure, but not for Kentucky, so that is why they are taking this so seriously :) We have never had so much snow in SOOOOO long!
It has been fun. I went driving around our neighborhood in our truck, visiting friends and watch them shovel out their driveways. It is still poring large snowflakes, so the snow is just going to get higher and higher. But so far...in certain areas...there is definitely at least one FOOT of snow.
Tyson is on his way to Belize for a dental mission trip, so he is missing out on all of this. He left Friday morning, but was suppose to be flying to Dallas Texas...which was not going to happen since they had 200 flights canceled because of the same type of situation. So, they hopped into a taxi Friday morning and drove to Nashville, TN airport, then flew to Miami Florida and spent the night there. They are leaving finally this morning to Belize...

This is the front of our house...still with lots of snow poring down.
Our back yard.
Jessica & Mark Mortenson's House...they shoveled just a few minutes ago and already a good inch of snow formed.
The Maxfields had just started shoveling their driveway. Looks good!
Our driveway and garage. These are tire marks from backing out of our garage.
Were looking at 1 foot of snow in some areas in our yard. The 12 inch ruler dips all the way into the snow...and pretty much covers it completely. Our back door.
Tyson's truck, that I took out driving around our neighborhood in 4 wheel drive.
LOVE THIS TRUCK!!! It was so much fun!
Deep foot prints
Mortenson's mailbox buried in the snow, when they were shoveling their driveway.Tire prints in our drivewayStepping out into our backyard.A neighbors car parked outside all night...that sucks! :)Snow piling up on our garbage cans. Our front door...snow blown up against it.
Well, this probably isn't all the snow we'll be getting. I'm looking outside and it is still coming down really hard...I'll have to take some more pictures Sunday morning...since CHURCH will probably be CANCELLED! :)
